Power and Versatility

The two engines offered for this edition of the Edge are both impressively powerful and fuel-efficient, with the base option being a turbocharged 250-horsepower 2.0-liter that gets up to 28 MPG on highways, while the other engine is a 2.7-liter that produces 335 horses while offering an estimated 25 MPG. Two seamless-shifting transmissions are also available, with the 2.0-liter pairing to an eight-speed automatic and the other engine mated to a seven-speed, also automatic.

Towing maxes out at 3,500 pounds with this edition, making it easy to haul both trailers and campers and when nature calls, the vehicle’s Intelligent AWD jumps into action as soon as it detects terrain changes, making transitions from pavement to off-road surroundings effortless.
